Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 August 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Montio app ("Montio," "we," "us"). By downloading or using Montio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Montio on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos, photos, audio, and other content you create or edit with Montio ("Your Content"). Because Montio processes Your Content on your device, we do not receive, access, store, or claim any rights to it. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use any material you import.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Montio to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, or that violates the rights of others, and not to use the app in any way that breaks the law or Apple's rules.

4. Subscriptions (Montio Pro)

Montio is free to download and use. Some features are available through an optional auto-renewable subscription, Montio Pro, offered as monthly and annual plans.

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's policies.

5. Disclaimer

Montio is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. AI features (such as best-moment selection, captions, and translation) are automated and may not be accurate; you should review results before publishing. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Montio and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the app.

7. Apple

These Terms are between you and Montio's developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. In the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
